New to group, hope it’s okay to ask this type of question. I figured my savvy savers would have good suggestions. I’m looking to make a non toxic cleaning spray, pretty much for entire house. Something I can use on kitchen counters, tile floors, scrubbing the grime out of tub. I did buy this Eco friendly non toxic refillable product but I don’t feel like they actually get the cleaning job done or disinfect, nor do they leave the house smelling good. I’ll be honest I LOVE the smell of fabuloso and the clean smell of Lysol/bleach lol. But I need something that’s better for us (and my babies) and that I can make batches of and save monies! What other type of products do you make at home va buying in store that save you money in the long run?

I've never tried this, but I've read you can mix vinegar and water and add some essential oils for the smell!

Peroxide in a spray bottle as a disinfectant (replace bleach), white vinegar for windows and mirrors, thieves cleaner for all-purpose (it’s very concentrated, so it goes a long way). I bought glass bottles off amazon and mixed my own. I add essential oil to the peroxide for a nice smell. I can change it up for whatever season it is.

50/50 of warm vinegar and dawn dish soap to clean sinks, tubs/showers etc. leave on 15 min and rinse. Vinegar can be used for many many things.

I use vinegar, water and oils. Mostly orange, lemon or thieves. The oils cut the vinegar smell. I have tried making toilet bombs with baking soda, citrus acid, orange oil and am not too impressed. It will take off surface gunk but if you have any kind of water ring it doesn't work as well. We are on a well so the water ring happens pretty quick.

I love* Branch Basics. It’s one concentrate that you dilute to different strengths for different uses but you use the same concentrate for all purpose spray, bathroom cleaner, laundry detergent, glass cleaner, hand soap and more. And it works! DM me and I can give you a referral link for $10 off. www. branchbasics. com

Dr Bronners does everything. Vinegar, baking soda. the fragrances you won’t be able to replicate naturally as they are endocrine disrupting chemicals. Once you get yourself off of them, you will feel a difference & you can “smell” their toxicity

We use “thieves oil” (rosemary, cloves, eucalyptus, and thyme) with a touch of casteel soap and a bit of lavender oil for fragrance, mixed with water. that is our “all purpose cleaner”
