Continuously going through my finances to see how I can cut unnecessary/optional costs! Called and got my car insurance reduced to $135- WIN! Also was paying $75 for internet alone- got it reduced to $55! WIN I don’t have cable (only Hulu/Disney + package, and share my sisters Netflix) Other things I’m having trouble parting with. -Apple Music $4. 99 (student account) -Apple iCloud $9. 99 (all my sons pictures I can’t part with) -Amazon $12. 99 Are there any other options to the above? What have you done to cut costs.

Get yourself an external hard drive or multiple USBs to transfer your son's pictures to. You're spending $120/year to store pictures

Pay for Amazon for an entire yr up front. It's cheaper. Also what about putting the pictures on a flash drive?

Girl if you’ve got amazon prime already that gives you access to amazon music, tv, and photos. The music is good and the tv is great! And ultimates photo backup storage and 5gb of video storage(you can upgrade for more)

Download everything from the iCloud, then transfer to your google drive. (Associated with a Gmail account) This is free and it works GREAT!

Google photos is significantly cheaper if you add storage like icloud drive. But icloud storage is basically the Same as getting an external hard drive.

Amazon photos app! the good thing is that once downloaded on that app you can erase from your cellphone unlike the iCloud! & it’s free with amazon prime
by (1.9k points)
You still can't delete the pics from your phone once they're on the iCloud?
by (970 points)
@guam441 nope! It’s pointless! That’s why they want you to buy that 2TB or whatever. Apple is great but they want alllll your money lol

We canceled our amazon prime last July. We still get free shipping on orders over $25 and usually get our items in 3-4 days.

I upload all my photos to FB albums and then delete them from my iPhone. ‍♀️

@krueger fwiw, FB destroys the quality of the photo. If you ever wanted to get prints they would be super grainy

I only pay $. 99 for my iCloud and I have over 2, 000 pictures with room for much more. Can you downgrade there? You could also look at putting the older ones on a usb Drive and putting it in a safe or safe place

Get a thumbdrive to move the pictures to. They are super cheap and then you can keep them in a safe place.

Amazon Prime has free unlimited photo storage so you could migrate all of your iCloud photos over to Amazon and set up automatic backup from all of your devices.
by (1.2k points)
@clabber84015 they say unlimited. but they lie. I've maxed out mine.
by (5.2k points)
@clabber84015 I have about 20, 000 pics!

@prude :: it’s unlimited photo storage but not unlimited video storage. I have about 25k pics in my account at the moment and I’m in the process of running a duplicator on them to get rid of the duplicates.

Just a little info about amazon photo. The privacy laws are different between Apple and amazon. Apple is safer offers much more privacy than amazon does. Some people care about that stuff.
