I am starting the cash envelope journey this month. I put so much work in and had every penny planned out. Part of my income is child support. Looks like I won't be getting it this week. Trying not to get down hearted. Missing 1 payment won't throw it all that much. I'm just sad because I had it planned. Does anyone else struggle with trying to track and plan semi reliable child support? It's taken by the state but when his employer mails it or when a check isn't needed because of a 5 week month is up in the air. Suggestions appreciated!
