1100. And it’s so high because my son, my mom, and my mother in law all have a birthday on Christmas Eve. So the 1100 includes. Those birthdays. The food and decor for my sons birthday. And gifts.

1000 I wonder if it's enough. We usually pay for our son to fly home, but I should have lots extra in my travel, so thinking that still offset  his tickets. This includes our family bake day, and our annual Christmas party

$100 for each child (2 sons), and whatever hubs asks for. This year he asked for under armour slides. I got them for 75% off on black friday. $12 and $15 on reeses bc they're his fav stocking stuffer! All sets of grandparents get an ornament with grandkids names, a Christmas picture of my boys, and one small gift card/certificate. If I could bake, everyone besides my husband and boys would get cookies

1000ish. $50, paid twice a month so I will have it saved by the end of October. I’ll keep saving with November and December paychecks though, and the extra will be for extra groceries for holiday dinners or gas for the extra driving. We have a family of 4, and we only buy for our parents, and 1 niece, 1 nephew, so we don’t have to have a huge budget.

$2k for my immediate family of my husband, 3 kids and nephew who lives here. Plus small gifts for our nieces and nephews. We stay home with no local family so no big fancy cooking or parties!

$1200 specifically for Thanksgiving then roll leftover to my Christmas which will have $300 already. Money is just really for travel because we do more family activities than presents

$1100. Plus I’ll get a bonus in November that I will use. I mostly started the Christmas savings challenge to teach myself how to save. I’ll probably use it towards debt and my bonus for Christmas

$700 or so. Pitch in for food, buy alcohol for that time of year, gifts for hubby myself (if we want anything or do something) and our daughter. We don't do gifts for family and I don't have neices or nephews.

I put 2k away in my bank's Christmas Club. Thankfully, my bank you cannot take money out of the Christmas Club early unless It's an emergency and then you get penalized for taking it out so I have never tried to take money out. In mid October I get the money. $1000 I'll use to pay stuff off and the other $1000 is for that holiday season (Thanksgiving and Christmas). However, if I get extra money from October to Christmas, it also goes toward Christmas (gifts, food for parties, my kids school parties, cookies, etc. ).

We’re gonna do a medium needs based Christmas for our 5 kids plus I want another 300-400 for random families to help. We’re also getting a house and most of the stuff for my 5 will be sheets, bedding, decor, etc. So maybe $1500 this year. $200/kid plus my one will get AirPods. Plus 300-400.

$600 - $50/month into my Christmas sinking fund. We most likely won’t spend all of it, so we will use the leftovers to debt.

I think about 1k (maybe like 800 on second thought) I'll buy for my parents, two siblings, sisters bf, and my bf. My bf buys for his family himself and I do mine but the gifts are from both of us. My siblings are still young 17 and 21 so it's fun to spoil them. My brother begged for new clothes last year to reinvent his style, I bargain shopped all year and i only spent like 250 and he LOVED his new wardrobe. My mom gave me 150 get even more and have it be from her. It's fun to give, but only when its planned for and budgeted! I should also add we dont do bday gifts never have never will so this is it for the year!

Last year, we ended up spending $1800 because my husband got a last minute bonus and I felt like I skimped on other years, but it felt like too much. I want to be a minimalist, but I have a ways to go. I budgeted $600, but I don’t think this is realistic. I think $1, 000 is more reasonable. I have 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a husband who doesn’t believe in practical gifts for Christmas. We also have parents who spend extravagantly, and I struggle with how much is enough? I asked for experiences this year (zoo memberships and a trip to the beach), but I also like to have things for people to open.

My goal for Christmas is under $500! This amount includes my budget for Christmas Eve Dinner, Christmas morning breakfast and my son’s gifts + stocking stuffers. We are not exchanging gifts with anyone this year. Instead, my son and I will do festive outings or gatherings with our friends + family!
