So my sons box springs has caved in. He needs a new bed. Of course I haven’t saved for this. Do y’all buy beds online and if so where? Where can I get a good queen mattress and box springs without going in to debt?

If he doesn't need a mattress could you just do a metal frame? It's like a platform frame you just sit the mattress on. All 3of my kids have them. They run about 89/100. amazon. walmart. Walmart sometimes has them in store.

I got a cooling memory foam in a box mattress from Walmart- I love it. You just put it on a frame like in the photos above. Lots of storage under it too.

Things I’ve done so far to better our lives since finding TBM last month: •switched amazon prime to prime student- (WONT cancel because being overseas.Amazon is a lifesaver) •bought reusable ziplocks-no more plastic ziplock bags •started using the diva cup instead of tampons •canceled subscriptions (bark box, chegg, grammerly, HBO, Starz and many more) •informed my family I WILL NOT be doing holidays or birthdays this year, in effort to pay off ALL debt and save for a trip that was already planned •got serious about couponing and buying local produce (which is cheaper than commissary) •cut utility costs by not running water for to long and turning off (&unplugging) when not in a room •bought eco friendly plates, no more plastic or glass (my gf tends to...
