So one of my coworkers is offering Financial Peace University after work. At first I was very interested, I've heard great things! But now I've been digging into TBM and a lot of financial outlets the last few months and feel like I already know what will be said in FPU so there's no reason to spend the $100. From anyone who's done it, is there more to it than the baby steps and budgeting?! I've already been working on that is it worth the $$?

I think it's worth so much more. The course covers a lot of ground, including insurance, retirement, etc. Plus the community of going through it with others. I loved it, and I'm taking it again next month.

I did FPU and really got a lot out of it. Dave is extremely knowledgeable in his field with retirement plans, investments, life insurance. to me it was worth every bit of $100. 00. Plus it helps to do it with a group to support and encourage one another.

I would say it’s worth it, especially if you’re struggling to get your spouse on board, being in a group and having that accountability with other couples can be eye opening, and it really does have a great deal of information.

It's still good information. Its Christian based, but you look at money differently. Also, kumikohas very similar process, just more relatable to real life. Dave Ramsey's daughter Rachel Cruze is another good one to watch. I implement stuff from all three of these methods.

It is so much better! I would definitely pay the money and take the course. I feel like itll help you build a better foundation than just the budget mom (no offense at all! Each one feels like they have different focuses). Dave helps give you a broader spectrum of financial advice that's more than just budgeting.

This might be a silly question, but has anyone ever invested in Dave Ramsey’s financial peace University?
