I just purchased the budget binder print outs! What’s the cheapest way to build my binder if I plan on budgeting one month at a time?

I’d make a budget for each month! I buy stickers from the dollar store!

I use HP instant ink subscription and print at home. Got my binder at walmart. the pen+gear brand.

I second HP instant ink! If you have an HP printer it’s the cheapest way to go and super convenient!

@berstine yes! But the HP has to be instant ink eligible. I had an older one and upgraded. so worth it!

Look through the pages and decide what you will and won't use. There's a handful of pages that I don't use, so I don't print them. I also don't print the monthly cover page, as that is a lot of colored ink :)

This may sound like a waste of money, but I’m going to be buying an open boxed iPad from Best Buy with leftover tax return so that I can start doing it all from the iPad and not have to print anymore! Over time it will save some money on ink since I really don’t use the printer for anything else. Plus, my daughter has always been getting a hold of all my print outs and 99% of the time they end up icky and gross or water spilt on them.

I print mine in black and white. I prefer that. And I also print them 2 months at a time and only the pages I use. Some pages I don’t know how to use.

I print mine a month at a time, then stick them in my planner so they are handy. I add them to the binder when I am finished for the month.

Print one month at a time as well, I also use tabs to separate the months instead of printing the month cover sheet.

I printed mine off at staples lol I’m too impatient to wait for my home printer (I have a laser so it’s not like the cost would have been huge). Had staples print it off my calendar parts on card stock and everything else on regular paper and had them 3hole punch it. Grabbed some tabs for my own use. Had a binder at home. Was around $15 to have it printed off.

@gatehouse66 do you have any issues with the highlighter bleeding through the page?

@pacian none at all! These are beyond awesome! It also depends on the quality of paper you use.

This is the paper I used

How do you get started with this? I’d like to begin but I’m not sure how.

@percy I get paid twice a month, so I printed two paycheck trackers and 2 expense sheets. I didn’t print out her quotes and that saved me a lot of ink and paper

Print out only the sheets you actually use either at home monthly or ask a friend to print out the file for you.

Personally I was spending more ink from printer so I only print the free printables (newsletter) and then sent everything else to cheaper copies (30 - color /26 black and white shipped)
