I have silver necklaces and pearl necklaces I would like to sell to pay off debt. I also have a full set of silver flatware I inherited (I don't know if it's just silver plated and of what level of quality it is) How can I find out if they are worth any money and where do I sell them?

You wont make much unless you sell on ebay to someone specifically looking for those pieces. Otherwise you can maybe sell to a jeweler to be melted down, still not much $ to be made.

Try some rwedding resell sites here on Facebook within your area! Lots of brides are always on the hunt for different things like that. To figure out vaule try a pawn shop/antique shops.

There's a company with the name (I think) Montgomery Buyers? They come to our town 4 times a year. You could look up antique jewelry sellers who buy people's jewelry, or coins.

If you only sell it to melt down, silver is under $18/Oz. You can go to a dealer to have them tell you value if you were to insure them. Then you won’t be getting lowball pawn prices hoping they can make a profit from you. They also may be able to give you an idea of the marketplace value. Then I would try selling on eBay first. That’s your biggest audience and best chance to get best value.
