Question

Does anyone use TurboTax for there tax returns? I’m nervous about using it as I want to obviously maximize my return. Anyone have any reviews?

I have always used TaxAct, but this year I did mine on both TaxAct and TurboTax and came back to the exact same amounts on both. I went ahead and stuck with TaxAct because it was the cheapest of the 2. I can’t do the free versions due to some forms I have to submit.

@grout so you can check and see in different programs and then choose one to process your return? I have always wanted to do it myself because they charge $300 something to do. Im scared though that i will make a mistake. Does your refund still take 14 days?

@matroclinous yes it will let you go through the whole process without submitting it for free. Yes, normal refund times.

I have used turbo tax for years and never had any issues either. They’re always super quick and easy to use

I seen some people say credit karma had gotten them a bigger refund but it was the same for both!

Credit Karma, and H & R Block gave me almost $80. 00 more vs TurboTax. I've always used Turbo tax but not this year.
