Auto insurance.  I'm fresh from a divorce and have had car insurance in my name the last 6 months.Auto insurance. I'm fresh from a divorce and have had car insurance in my name the last 6 months. I'm currently with esurance *because they would insure me since I hadn't had insurance in my name for 10 years due to being married and listed as a driver on our policy* and I pay $110 per month. I got a quote from geico for $82 a month and progressive for $35 per month. These are huge differences in ranges all for same coverage. Any recommendations for either company? I've got a good driving record and I'm almost 51. I can start the new policy march 1.

Is the deductible the same? What about glass coverage some states offer that and some don’t. So if it’s the same coverage AND deductible, obviously I would go with the less expensive premium.

Make sure it’s the same coverage. I got a quote and read into it a little more and would of been completely sol had I switched and been in an accident.

I am independent agent and I can review your coverages to tell you which plan I would recommend. Won't cost you anything and I do not make any money on it. Just shoot me pictures of the quotes you have and I will let you know.

The deductibles have to be different for that much difference. Please make sure you are adequately insured before making a final decision.

I've had progressive for 6 years now. We've never had any issue, but never had any claims either. Our price has never been jacked up or anything.

I have been with Geico for the last 12 years my parents used it forever till they could no longer drive we have never had an issue and they had a few accidents. I have only had one and that was only because I was teaching my kid to drive and she wrecked the car.
