Once cleaned the house order a house bomb for smoke damage off eBay or amazon and they fill your house with some smoke and take the smell of smoke out maybe smell it faintly still for a while after x

I cleaned a smoke damaged kitchen yesterday. Elbow grease worked the best. I used nearly a whole bottle but the ceiling was bad! Still needs repainting

Magic erasers are awesome for this, I had a kitchen fire and it got rid of most of the smoke damage and just needed 2 coats of paint to cover.
