Who stores ‘stuff’ on top of kitchen cupboards? It’s not long since I cleaned them and it’s all minging again- how does it all get up there anyway? Thinking just plastic storeage boxes with lids? X

I put an old piece of wallpaper on top of my cupboards, change it every 6 months or so

Either clean weekly or put paper down and change frequently . though I have cook books etc in plastic sealed bags on mine as it slopes backwards so can't see them with quite a small kitchen its ideal!

Plastic storage I've tried forflour, sugar etc and they are now next to it as once in it's too heavy for me to pick up! My cupboards finish about 12inch from ceiling

I bought storage boxes which reach the ceiling and I have them above my units in my utility only, excellent way to store extra bits.

Doesn't have to look cluttered if it's done neatly, which is surely what the post is about! Not everyone is fortunate to have a large enough kitchen that they can store everything out of sight
