I tried to just wash and repaint when I did this but it actually came through, I was advised by a decorator to paint a thin coat of undercoat then normal paint to stop it coming back through, worked a treat xx

I would just wash with soapy water and repaint if possible  been there done that too

Wash and repaint. Done it before in my own house after shots of black sambucca ‍♀️
