Either soak them or wait for frost! I've done it with a lot of my little ones stuff. Wet them then put on the line over night when its frosty. The stains gone in the morning. Then put through the washer. Works a treat x

@antiquarian Byrne I think my nan told me about it. Little one got bolognese on a white tshirt of mine, and it didn't wash out it was a big one. Put it out last time it was frosty and away it went  xx

Elbow grease! I normally find once you've washed the clothes you can't get the stain out, but spraying elbow grease on the stain and leaving for 10 then washing again really helped :) and this was on tomato stains on my little girls clothes which is always the toughest!

My Granddaughter was a sickly baby and with tomato based food, there wasn’t a stain I couldn’t get out. I used 3% peroxide mixed with Fairy Liquid in a squirt bottle. I sprayed all the stains and let it seep in for about an hour before putting them in the machine. Some really Stubborn ones, might need a second spray. Peroxide from chemist, £1. 50 a bottle. Make sure it’s 3%, no higher or it will bleach your clothes. Can be used on colours to.
