Guys I’m looking for a cordless hoover. I have carpet in everyroom. I also have a baby that loves to throw his food over the high chair. I keep deciding then chancing my mind. I need something light and quick as I have back problems. I know this question is asked a lot. But I’ve been looking at sharks, vac and dyson. Are there any other brands which I’m missing that I should look at? Any advice and help would be recommended. I have a budget of £250 but could stretch to £350 if needed.
Guys I’m looking for a cordless hoover.

It isn’t cordless but the shark liftaway is amazing! You can take it away from the hoover stand & the cord is massive (I can do everywhere in my house with it) It’s only £179. 99 in Argos with 5 years guarantee x

Just be aware Cordless is not ideal if you have back problems as the batteries are heavy. I bought an 80 quid corded vax and its been the best thing ever. So light. I have stenosis and chronic back pain cant stand for more than a few minutes and have no issues with this.

The shark cordless duo clean double battery is Brill. I have carpets and hard floors, a toddler that makes a mess daily and a bad back and I find it so easy x

The only one I tried needed you to hold the switch down to get it to work. If you have arthritis in your fingers that is not easy.

Sorry as its corded but shark lift away. It has great suction and easy to change to different attachments and not hard work on your back as long as the settings are changed on the base for the type of carpet

I have had two shark liftaways and I hate it with a passion, and they are very heavy even the ant hair wrap doesn’t work personally wouldn’t buy another.

I have back problems and use a hetty. Lovely long cord and easy to reach ceiling too for cobwebs. I've got a mini zoo so lots of animal hair although I swear me and my daughter moult more. Atleast the hetty doesnt have the spinning bar thing that our hair gets wrapped around and no messing about pulling it apart to clean this and that. A good thing for the baby food would be a dog lol

I also have back problems, recently had surgery on a herniated disc and I love my Shark liftaway (corded) it’s so easy to push around and it’s that powerful it kinda pulls you along with it. I also have a Vax Blade which is ok for hard floors but not great on carpets. I can use the blade, then go over the same place with t Shark and it lifts so much more dirt.

I have back problems and have bought the corded Shark duo clean flexology. It is amazing for cleaning all types of flooring ( I have laminate, vinyl and carpet! ) and best of all bends in the middle to clean under sofas etc so I dont need to bend !

We were planning on spending £300ish. But we were sold on the dyson v11 and haven’t regretted it. This is how much dust/hair etc came off just my one sofa (id hoovered it 2 days before too)

We have the Shark duo its cordless its Brill for the stairs but the rest of the house we use a Shark lift away. We had Dysons for years but would not go back, Sharks are loads better.
