Love my cordless duo pet, had Dyson and shark beats it by miles. so light and easy to carry up the stairs(especially if have a bad shoulder like myself) and if got quick spillage you have hoovered it by the time you have plugged the corded one in. Also very handy having 2 batteries which last 40 mins each. find it fab with having long haired cats and hoovering all the time.

@cloudburst Harris I have this one too. It is fantastic, I am definitely a cordless convert. My mum has the Dyson equivalent and is very impressed also. I think with Hoover's you get what you pay for

I’ve had a cordless shark and it barley picked anything up! I’ve now got corded anti hair wrap and it’s amazing it’s heavier of course but it really does pick everything up x

I have 2x lift away and they are fabulous. My first one is still going strong, so purchased a second, wouldn’t have anything else now. I had dyson for years before I converted to shark. I have a mixture of wooden floors and carpet, and three dogs and three children at home and they cope with the mess easily.

I haven’t got a Shark ( couldn’t afford it ) but I have got a Morphy Richards SuperVac. It’s light weight, cordless and efficient. I use it everyday on my wood floors, rugs and carpets and find it really good. It’s got attachments for stairs, car and furniture. It runs for 35 mins on full charge. I use my ‘big’ vacuum once a week, but to be honest the SuperVac is perfect for my needs.

I have the corded which is amazing, but if I could afford it I would also have the cordless. Would be brilliant for something small and easy to just whip out for those small crumbs etc on the floor.

Unfortunately the cordless shark aren't that great. I have a cordless gtech that is brilliant and really versatile. I have a corded shark for doing bigger areas and it is amazing. Tried the cordless when was buying my shark and doesn't even compare at all.

I have the Cordless and can not fault it!  We got it after years of Dysons which we had no problems with. honestly, the first time I used it I was speachless! I hoovered with the Dyson twice a Day and thought my Carpets were clean but the Shark brought up so much stuff that it was satisfyingly disgusting  I'd never go back now xxx

The sales guy at Curry’s told me the cordless don’t have the same power as corded. I test drove them all in the shop, corded feel heavier but their power was much better. I ordered direct from shark and went with the corded lift away duo anti hair wrap, purely because I hoover a lot and didn’t want to have to charge constantly and I have three cats and a dog! It is amazing ☺️

Not my hoover but info on a shark cordless. My neighbour has a cordless duo that they purchased in last yrs black Friday sale last week it lost suction and the lights started flashing. They called customer service and they said they are getting reports that there is a fault with the battery so sent them a new 1 this arrived in 24 hrs, however this didn't fix the fault so they rang again they then sent the motor part again sent in 24 hrs this fixed the fault.

A pity you’re not in Cornwall as I’m thinking of selling mine. I’ve only used it a handful of times and it’s a great vacuum cleaner, however I have chronic back pain and I find it difficult to manoeuvre. It’s the corded duo with the thing to stop hair getting caught up in the roller. I’ve only had it about 7 or 8 months. Anyone in the PL27 area interested give me a msg. I paid £150 for it and would probably be looking for £100 like I said I could count on 1 hand the number of times it’s been used.

I bought a cordless shark about 2 years ago and it is the best vacuum cleaner I've ever had. It goes from hard floor to carpet with no problems at all. The suction is great and the filters are so easy to change and are not expensive to replace. It converts easily from floor cleaning to doing my furniture, bed and high up jobs . I would most definitely recommend it ✅✅✅

I would go with the powered corded lift away, I had the cordless on and tbh it was a nightmare for the dog hair clogging the rollers, ended up giving it to the daughter no dogs x

I've just bought a shark lift away. Firstly it's amazing at getting dust up, the suction is 200%. BUT it's heavy, clumsy and awkward. The fine detailing tools bristles is very soft and will not last more than a month. You can remove the upright handle to use but it's clumsy as the black pipe is not long enough to do anything with. That's why they call it a lift away, because of you're hoovering cobwebs, the black pipe pulls The machine over as it's not long enough to reach. So you've got to take it (the lift away bit) just so it doesn't fall. But then it makes it heavy and awkward as then you're moving your dominant hand to remove the cobwebs while holding half the Hoover up in the air. OMG I want to throw it through the window. The suction is amazing and leaves your carpets like new(ish). But usability is rubbish! Do I regret buying it? No as it gets stuff clean, but yes add its heavy and it clumsy (like the Dyson upright).

Ive got the cordless upright and a corded upright one of the older ones but im saving for the anti hair wrap corded upright. The cordless is good but i found it didnt do a really good hoover on a high pile carpet with fluffy dogs who shed tons . But its fantastic on hard floor and the stairs are so easy with it and the car when its raining! Definitely get the extra battery though. My mother in law has the corded anti hair wrap with 3 fluffy collies and thinks thats great. Hope this helps
