Am thinking of getting a steam cleaner but am cautious in case they would create damp & mould? Also wondering what you can clean with them, are there surfaces that can’t be cleaned? Can wool rugs be cleaned? Is there any that come with such an attachment that would be long enough to clean under appliances etc? Please give me your opinions on them.

I’ve got the h20 steam mop . Had it years it’s brilliant . You can clean everything it comes with lots of attachments . They have made a slightly sturdier one since I brought this one . You can steam clothes instead of ironing as well . They don’t tend to leave things really wet as it’s steam . Just be careful on vinyl floor and laminate

I have a polti brought years ago but revives and kills germs and smells out of carpets curtains etc I steam around toilets bathroom but laminates and vinyl, I only have it on very low low heat steam. It does not take over from general cleaning but every few weeks just give everywhere a good steam. I have a old dog and three cats
