Question

I washed my dry clean curtains and they came out absolutely fine. The curtains have always been stiff and still are, anyone got any ideas to soften them?

Mix comfort and water in a spray bottle and spray them might help

Putting white vinegar in the wash helps soften clothes, that should work on your curtains.

@sloganeer doesn't sofen in my experience. Just whites get whiter. I think that depends on water quality

Put in some bi-carb when you wash them
