Can anyone recommend the best thing to clean laminate? Having it laid this week and it’s the first time I’ve ever had laminate. Can’t wait to get rid of the filthy carpets I’m thinking a steam mop ♀️ normally just use flash and normal mop and bucket on my kitchen tiles but it never looks clean

Noodle mop and detol mop cleaner, steam mop if used frequently will make the laminate swell. Also if you have pet please don't use zoflora as it's harmful to them xxx

there's numerous reports of them being harmful to pets if you look it up. It's best to stay away from them I find. I use it on my work tops but would never use it on my floor where my dog walks

Zoflora as well as lots of other floor products are only safe near pets if diluted correctly and 100% dry before the animal walks on the area.

Sorry but I would not use a steam mop on laminate. Damp mop followed by dry one.

A steam mop may make the laminate flooring warp. Just use a rag mop with very little water and cleaner

Don't use a steam mop! I used it and it made my laminate swell and lift in places it's completely warped now use a spray mop something that doesn't soak the floor x

I'm having laminate my self and wondered this, does anyone use a spray mop with it? I have one that you can wash the cleaning pads in the washing machine rather than waste floor wipes like some mops use. Does anyone know if these harm the flooring thanks.

I use a Vileda spray mop. Used cheaper ones but they always break after a few months. You can fill it with just water or any product you like. I used zoflora and water x

Its recommended to jot use a steam mop on wood or laminate as itll warp in time. Normal mop or use method, literally just squeeze it from the bottle onto the floor then mop over it :)

I use a steam mop as it drys within minutes. I was told not to use a mop as it can over wet the floor, leaving puddles which obviously taking longer to dry. X

Steam mop will make the laminate swell. Best off cleaning things up as they happen, and making sure not to soak with water

I used a vileda mop and bucket with hot water and I use the method floor cleaner. You squirt it all over the floor, then mop then you really dry out the mop in the drainer part and go over it again. Leaves it soooo clean they even have one for laminate x
