Ive just bought a submersible drain pump to empty mine. I managed to get one pretty cheap (well cheap for a sub pump anyway) from Ebay. But it depends how big your pool is as to whether its worth it, because i know they dont empty them completely and leave about an inch of water in the bottom. Mines quite a deep pool so i cant just flood my garden with the water and my garden is on a slant and i cant figure out how to syphon uphill to our nearest drain Also i have a pool cover to keep bugs etc out when not in use. And i have a bucket for the kids to dip their feet in before they get in. Just need to get chlorine tabs now so i can leave it a few more uses between emptying. X

I would chuck it on the garden if it's just water. That way your grass get a good watering after a hot day. If you have grass. If it's paved it will be like a huge amount rain and do what it normally does when it rain a lot x

U could put a sheet with the elastic on depending on size and shape or buy a pool cover

Just pour it in your garden. Water must go some where or you’d be screwed every time it’s rains x

Image result for how to sterilize a pool using milton tablets How to clean your paddling pool with Milton: Dilute 30ml (fluid) or 1 standard Milton Sterilising Tablet to every 500 litres of water. Once the solution is ready it should be left for 30 minutes before emptying out and using. If the pool does not have a cover the water should be refreshed every few days.

I use a bed sheet the ones with the bandsand it fits over. Usually a double fitted sheet do3e the job depending on pool size. Then I use a net to clear our any grass or bugs

@winepress this is what I do. Cover with fitted sheet and then emptied out following evening.
