Question

My wedding anniversary is June 30th and I know only some places are reopening little by little but does anyone have any suggestions for any overnight ideas or maybe water activities? I'm willing to travel to other parts of Illinois as well. Thanks!

I think, that your best bet would be to go to Wisconsin. Who knows where we’ll be by June 30th. Cedarburg, WI is one of my favorite overnight places. Washington Inn is a great B&B. You need to book early.

Door county! So beautiful there and a lot of fun things to do. One night may be too short though.

For just you two? We got married at The Goldmoor Inn, in Galena. Every room has a huge ass tub. Very clean, accommodating, and genuinely nice owners. Lovely downtown area as well. No idea what will be open and what not. Even if you just stay mainly in your rooms (given the current situation) it's a nice little get away/romantic time.
