Best place for boys pants? 7 year old. Relatively thin waist, but bigger thighs. Rough on clothes and would love for them to last/he grows like a weed and I don’t want to spend much when it probably won’t fit next winter. Currently has some Costco and some cat and jack. The waists if the 6 fit, but they are way too short. But bigger sizes would fall off. anyone have a lead?

JC Penny has pretty durable athletic/sweat pants -- Xersion is the brand. They're reasonable $12 - $20 & they look decent for everyday wear (not sloppy, like pajama pants) Hope you find something for your little man! :)

I would say lands end, you can try on at the outlet in niles. And your younger one can wear when he grows out and if you get neutral colors your littlest peanut may get to wear them

If you keep your receipt targets cat and jack clothing/shoes all have a 1 year guarantee. if it rips, wears out, breaks, just bring it in with the receipt and get a new pair
