Question

Anyone order from Lou Malnati's tonight and still waiting on their order? Ordered confirmation came in at 5pm delivery window 6:55-7:05pm at 8:30pm my husband goes there (in Elk Grove) they tell him food is on the delivery car, call the driver no answer. Husband leaves. 9pm I call O they messed up food is just coming out and will go out for delivery now. So basically my husband going there reminded them to actually make my order and instead of just saying our bad were so busy want to wait? They sent him on his way and wanted me to wait yet again for the delivery guy. No apologies nothing but a coupon (maybe) for a medium pizza. Order cancelled. . rant over

Might have been better going to the Lou Malnati Carry Out Store in Park Ridge.

@chevaldefrise right, I know when I placed the order it was 15 minutes difference between pick up and delivery guess us being lazy bit us in the butt. I was craving those cubes

That’s a real bummer, but I almost ordered for delivery tonight so I’m glad I was too lazy. But just to add, that is total bullshit. I’d be so livid. And hangry.

@whelp4426 O I am listen I get being busy and all the pizzas are cute and Lou's is good. But come on with the not knowing where the order is. A call to the manager tomorrow for sure tonight was not the night. Their over worked tonight and I'm heated so bad combo

@doradorado9347 this happened to me last year. They were really delayed. I called the manager the next day and they mailed me a free voucher for a pizza and salad. This year I picked up and it was great.

We order from the Northbrook one at work & it’s a standing joke of how late they’ll be. Today - 24 minutes. I asked the delivery guy if they ever deliver on time & he said, “uh I think so? We’re busy today”. Also never a single apology. Hope you get yummy food soon!

We ordered carryout a bit before 7pm from the Mt. Prospect location and it's supposed to be ready now. My husband went to pick it up so I'm hopeful he'll have something to bring back?

@doradorado9347 yes! I find it interesting that someone said the carryout only locations are more reliable. We always use this location and it's generally pretty good at being on time. Sorry yours got so messed up

Aw that sucks. Sorry hun. We usually order from the Carry out location from Park Ridge off grub hub or their website. since it’s not a full on restaurant location , Carry out store fronts are usually on time.

@chevaldefrise Lim Mesina yeah next time I'm not so hot, Lou's is too good to never go back. But we'll try the MP one. Idk why Elk Grove Delivers to us seems like MP would be closer but who knows. The whole boundary thing is another thing that confuses me.

Placed an online order for carry out around noon for a 4:20p pick up and it was ready when I got there, but place was starting to fill up as I leave.

Aww so sorry! We almost ordered from Lou's but chose Pequod's in Morton Grove instead. Pizzas were perfect! My hubby got them right on time. Highly recommend Pequod's!

I’m a new server at the buffalo grove location. Valentines is the busiest day of the year I guess. We had 935 tickets by 9pm. Carry out had a line out the door most of the evening. I’m not sure about the other locations. A call tomorrow is justified. Best of luck.

My mom called ahead, knowing that was our plan & they would be busy. They told her exactly when would be a good time to call, wait times if she called during the busiest hours (4 hours). Our food was ready right on time, & perfectly, as usual.

@homeostasis my problem was not the wait my issue was my husband drove there after waiting an hour past delivery time and they said it was out for delivery 30 minutes later still nothing I called and they said our food just come out of the oven and would be delivered soon. Why tell my husband it was out for delivery and how would my delivery be here by 7:05 when it came out of the oven at 8:30

We ordered ahead from Giordano's in DP for a 615 pickup. My husband sat in the store for more than a half hour waiting for our order to be ready. Stop taking orders if you can't fill them!

@consumedly yeah it sounds like they just got flooded with orders at one point then they finally stop taking online orders and I guess they stopped taking calls too
