Question

My husband seemed to be able to fry two TVs last weekend and they have been sitting in our living room since. Any ideas on how to get rid of them? They are about 50 inches each. One is extremely heavy and the other isn’t as heavy. We live on a third floor walk up. I’m pregnant so I can’t help him but one of his friends is coming to help this weekend. Just looking for ideas. Thanks in advance.

Call the city of Des Plaines and see if they have electronics recycling I work for the Village of Hoffman Estates and they do electronics recycling and will take TVs

The other idea is to have the guys carry them down and put them on the parkway they will probably be picked up within the hour

Best Buy used to recycle them. You have to bring it there, but would make sure they still do

The Glenview Transfer Center I think it is called at River and Central in Des Plaines takes them every Saturday until around 11:00 a. m.
