Question

Does anyone have kids that do summer swim team? Practices are 7:30-9am at Chippewa pool. How do working parents get their kids to camp?

Last summer we left practice every day a 8:30 to zoom to camp by 9. The head coach was ok with it. Talk to him at the parent meeting about your situation. And get to practice a little early so your kid can help with setting up the pool since they won’t be helping to put it back at the end of practice.

It’s tough. It would be awesome if they offered a shuttle to some of the park district camps. We do it and love the program. But most days we have a grandpa that helps drop off and pick up if we need him to

Car pooling for us. I drop my daughter and neighbor off on my way to work then neighbors parents pick up as they’re both teachers and off during the summer.
