Moms, what full cover foundations do you use? I’m looking for something new. What I’m using right now kinda leaves my face itchy. So maybe something for semi sensitive skin? Or any recommendations on full coverage foundation ?

@unprepared is that online or in stores?

@sommelier Sephora, both! They have such a good shade range too!

I love Estée Lauder Double Wear for full coverage. In the drugstore Maybelline Superstay is good for full coverage too.

I just ordered IL MAKIAGE online. I’ve heard good things, although it’s expensive. Otherwise I use cover girl true blend.

@hostel8 I ordered it too. I hope you have a better experience than I did. To me it was no different than Cover Girl or any store brand. And the shade was off. It was too dark. I couldn’t get a hold of customer service. In the long run I dispute the charge w my bank and I got my money back. I wouldn’t of payed $10 bucks for it let alone almost $50

My high end and drug store favorites. For the price point the wet n Wild is SUPER good.
by (1.9k points)
@donothing I was using the wet and wild! It does work good but it makes my skin itch after it’s been on for an hour or so .

@sommelier that’s no good!  the double wear is pricey but it lasts a long time, plus I bought these bottle scraper things from amazon that dig out every last drop!

I have super sensitive skin. I love Mary Kay's cream to powder. They did just come out with new liquid foundation, too, but I have not tried it. With MK you can try before you buy, and can be returned if you change your mind (no penalty to the consultant). My mom sells it. Feel free to PM me for her info

When I was getting married, I went to MAC to have my makeup done. A MAC stylist told me that Makeup Forever HD Foundation is what most professional models wear. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It's pricey ($43 a bottle), but it lasts me about 9 months. I just tried Loreal True Match Foundation ($8. 99 a bottle), and it looked like I wasn't even wearing anything. So I'm returning it to Target and rebuying my old favorite.

@vulgarian hmm good to know. I think I’m gonna try this make up forever once ulta opens back up so hopefully they can match me

It all depends on your skin type. I have dry skin. So I use smashbox, makeup forever, and dior. I dont know what your skin tone is. But if your light I have a nars sheer glow foundation brand new. Only used 1 time. If you want it you can have it.

For high end I'd recommend Lancome Teint Idole 24 hrs or Estee Lauder. For Drugstore I'd recommend Maybelline Fit Me or L. A. Girl Pro

How important are the ingredients to you? If you’re going to spend a little more on the good stuff then get something with clean ingredients for your safety. 100% Pure, Beautycounter, Juice Beauty, Honest and Arbonne are all good starts.

I have tried 90% of the above listed and because I have DRY skin but also oily t zone, the best one for me is Esteè Lauder double wear hands down because it last all day, doesn't break, doesn't flake, and stays oil balanced.

@huttan that’s exactly how my skin is and exactly how my make up ends up lol so I may go with estee lauder then!
by (930 points)
@sommelier I literally have tried almost all of them! I think you'll love it! Best wishes ❤️
