Ladies!  Real talk, I'm getting around to doing all the things I've wanted to do around the house, but never had the time to.Ladies! Real talk, I'm getting around to doing all the things I've wanted to do around the house, but never had the time to. Finally getting my life together. How do you all store your shoes? I just got a really tall shoe rack. My shoes have been in a tote, other than the really expensive pairs I have (I'm not talking Louie's). My most expensive were my wedding shoes. How should I store my shoes? Keep the expensive ones, in boxes? Ok to put on shoe rack? What about tall boots? Should those be stored a special way? I guess this is what being called an adult is? ‍♀️

I have two of these (similar style) and they are low to the floor next to the door to our garage—holds six pairs of “everyday” shoes by the door. Keep the other ones in shoe boxes on top of our closet shelves.

I use a small 3 tier book shelf in my closet for my heels and nicer shoes. Leave boots in boxes on the actual closet wall shelves. And have a 6 cube organizer by my back door to put everyday shoes

I just bought an under the bed shoe storage bag. I *think* I’m headed in the right direction of adulthood

There are inserts you put in tall boots. You can google it. It helps keep the shape. Another idea keep your nice shoes in the shoes box. That way you can store them on the rack but not have to open to see what they are. Take a picture of the shoe and put it on the outside of the box. Another idea for saving space you could hang your tall boots with these clips. Good luck!

I use clear shoeboxes from the container store because I basically wear one pair of gym shoes and the rest are like once a week shoes.  But I use the pool noodle trick for tall boots and that works well to keep them upright.

I used rolled up magazines in my boots for years. Especially good if they had perfume inserts.
