Des Plaines Material and Supply. Good pricing, same or next day delivery (which was still available, as of last week). They typically cater to professional landscapers and don't seem interested in or set up to provide the same type of customer support as Lurvey's or Pesche's to individual/residential buyers, but if you call and say I need x amount of rock, mulch, etc. and this is where I live, they'll be there quickly, on time, and at a fair price.

Lurveys has great pricing and delivery but when I called they said it would be at least 2 weeks. Same for Pesches.

If you want to haul, I have a ton for free. There is a large built up bed in my front yard. It’s over the grade of the house and we have to take it down.

Are you looking for soil or dirt? Ozinga has free clean fill dirt. Either pick up for free or they’ll deliver for small charge.
