Logan has exceeded the weight limit, of 46 lbs, on his carseat. What is the next best step? He is 48. 2 lbs and is 3ft 11in, (If height matters).

Look into Diono. They’re a bit pricy but seem to go higher weight wise and are very secure. My guy is much bigger than yours but still sleeps in the car a bit. We had to move him to the booster but even that goes up to 120lbs and is really supportive. Even if he falls asleep he isn’t falling over. Good luck!

Britax Frontier, it will keep him in a 5-point harness.

Diono 3R or 3RX are great choices. Both go up to 65lbs when using a 5 point harness and the 3R goes up to 100lbs when using the booster mode. The 3RX goes up to 120lbs in booster mode.
