Looking for information, advice, recommendations on a digital TV antenna. Indoor or outdoor? One per TV or one for the whole house? Inquiring minds want to know.

I would recommend whole house antenna either outside or in the attic is worth the investment. I had individual antennas for some time before and just got frustrated with constant reception issues.

Just beware that Des Plaines does require a permit for mast antennas installed outside

I have small one hooked up to my tv for when my dish stops working. It’s self powered and indoor. I get about 10 channels 5 local. This way I can keep tract of storms. If you used a separate splitter you could connect multiple TVs.

Instead opt for high spend internet and stream your TV stations wirelessly to your TV sets via HDMI set top boxes or sticks like Amazon Fire Stick. Other options are available too like Internet phone (Voice over IP) and cheap access to streaming content via YouTube and Amazon. I can help with purchase and installation of the required equipment, I work at an IT Consulting firm here in Des Plaines.
