Hi moms, so I decided to transfer my girls back to public school here in Des Plaines. Since all this Covid lockdown, how do I register her for 6th grade? Is it to late to register my 5 year old also?

I just went through this for mount prospect. They are doing online enrollment and once we can go in in person then I have to bring documents. I’m sure DP is similar. Call the district office: DISTRICT OFFICE HOURS MON - FRI: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM | (847) 824-1136

It’s never too late. I didn’t register because we were between houses and I wasn’t sure which school we would end up at. We finally are closing on a house in June so I just mailed the papers to the school. I’m sure you can find them online or email the district and have them send the forms.

Go online to ELC website. For kindergarten reach out to the ELC secretaries by email. They are great at getting back.
