Good Forest Preserves for little kid bike riding? We don't have sidewalks in our hood (unincorporated DP) and my mom wants to take my daughter for some bike rides while she's here (I have a c section scheduled for Friday, so this is grandma time haha). We have been to Beck Lake and it was a) packed last time and b) a pain to get to the trail where she can actually ride. So any other ones around here that people recommend?

Great thank you, do you know if Glenview requires masks outside?

The Glen has been crazy crowded during this time.

@princedom That's what I worried about too, how crowded some of these places are. I'll have a newborn at home, so I definitely want them to go someplace a little off the beaten path/not as crowded. Thanks for the info!

Is she comfortable driving around here? I would head to busse woods. Plenty of different places to park and get right in. It's all paved, which I think is much better than struggling over woodchips

@tensimeter75 yep! She has no problem driving, thanks for the suggestion!

@pituri Ooo, thanks! I'll check it out! We like biking, but there won't be any biking for me this summer

We went to Catherine Chevalier Woods yesterday and it was nice! Nice trails, not crowded and saw deer and other wildlife!

We've been going to Busse Woods. With multiple parking lots, we park somewhere different each time and explore a different section. Parking is open Mon-Thu.

Busses Woods is really nice Entrances off Higgins Road, another at Oakton Street and Arlington Heights Road.
