Hey guys.  So I’m totally new at this but have been following this group for some time now.Hey guys. So I’m totally new at this but have been following this group for some time now. 98% of the things written in her I don’t understand. However, one thing has sparked my interest significantly to learn more about Facebook ads especially but also Instagram which I think is equally advertisable if not more. I saw one comment from a young guy in some post who claimed that he is self-learned from YouTube and other free tutorials etc. and started advertising for clients and now owns a profitable company. I went to his Facebook page which supported that. I know that there is a lot of hard work. I learn quick, so I’m not afraid of the working load. So my question is, do some of you have the same experience as the young guy and if so, please elaborate. Finally, can you direct one as new as me where to start and what not to do? Thanks

Hey Abdel! Nice one man. I had a similar story to the guy you mentioned. Picked up a camera when I was 18 and learnt how to create compelling videos. Freelanced for some time and eventually developed into a creative agency servicing e-commerce brands around the world. Now earning 10x what I was at 18 and only just getting started. The online advertising space is competitive and will take some time to establish yourself but my advice would be to really niche down and get good at ONE thing. That could literally mean becoming an expert in running ads to generate leads for lawn mowing businesses. Don’t try to do everything, learn one thing really well and then you become the authority in that space. You know it like the back of your hand and you can charge accordingly  I’d also suggest mentorship and to go through a few courses (but be careful which ones you choose because some can be less help than their worth). A good course or mentor can really help you bypass those early hurdles, saving you a LOT of time in learning. Little things such as how to onboard a new client properly can stop you from going out and selling to more people. All in all, enjoy the process and smile at your mistakes. Business can be kinda fun ‍♂️ ✌️
