A client of mine is locked out of their facebook and the 2FA mobile # is a former, fired, employee- (They can't get the code from her). Does anyone know how to get in contact with FB directly for a secondary way to log in?

@widescreen There is no BM. They have a FB account for their business and they post on there- that's it. They've been doing it this way forever. Former employee set up their phone # for 2fa. Fired employee- when they tried to log in, they locked themselves out for 30 days. Now 30 days is up and they don't want the same thing to happen. There is no person to contact that they are able to find so they are asking me. I manage other things for them (currently, looks like I might be adding this).

@widescreen For context- The fired employee was their social media manager. They've already hired another one.

So, we are talking about a business page and access to it?

The above mentioned - will server them well.

Id say that account might be lost unless they have restore codes or a secondary 2FA. If you share access to a BM you might contact facebook support for him. Or google if theres a form to prove your identity. But how do you end up with someone else's # in your 2FA anyway?

I’ve had this issue. Contact them thru chat/email via your BM. they will ask for several items from the business. Documentation needed for Admin Dispute: 1. Copy of Drivers License of person signing statement. 2. A notarized and signed statement from a person with sufficient knowledge and authority over this matter that includes all of the following: a. A description of your relationship to the Page (and authority to request a change in the person(s) who manage the Page, as applicable); b. The name of the current person(s) who manage the Page, as applicable; c. The relationship of the above person(s) to the Page; d. An explanation of your request, and whether there has been a termination of the employment and/or business relationship with the named person(s), as applicable; e. All documentation supporting your request [including a declaration from legal counsel on transfer of Page ownership rights]; f. The Facebook account or email address associated with the Facebook account (or Timeline) that you wish to have added as the new admin of the Page; and g. A declaration under penalty of perjury that the information you have provided is true and accurate (your statement must include this language).
