Well i dont know the particulars of your audience size or exclusion size. but lets say hypothetically original audience is 10, 000 and you exclude anyone that has had engaged with it and that sums up to 9010 people well thats less than 1000 so fb wont show your ad. but from the sounds of it something else is going on with your ad

yeah strange must just be a glitch with the audience odometer, maybe set a budget and let it run, see what happens. if it doesnt work then it was reading correct and maybe you set your custom audience and rules incorrect

once a custom audience is applied, it won't show a number. It just shows the meter.

Yes, whenever you add a custom audience like this it hides the number.

This is what happens when you exclude. If you remove the exclusion the audience prediction will come back. Test that if you like. Your ad will run. @

Hi! If I want to run a Facebook ad, that is both directed to my FB followers + a broader audience (people of a certain age with a certain interest), can I do this in the same ad or do I have to create 2 separate ad sets?
