Client wants to do Facebook Ads. The value of a conversion is worth over $3, 000. No audiences created. Has a small email list. Client is asking how much is it to do Facebook Ads. How do you determine a budget for client to spend? Is there some sort of basic general guideline or formula to determine this?

What ROAS do they want?

I think if they spend like $500 to get $3, 000. I think that would be fair guess on my part but I'm not really sure. Would or should I ask that same question to client? Would that be a good start?

I do somewhere around 3-5x LTV test. I’d do $9000 - should be enough to give it a fair shake and figure out if it’s working or not. Depends how much risk your client can tolerate without getting scared. Some offers you can be down 30k+ before you crack it. Also depends on how many creatives + different funnels you’re testing and their costs.

Take into account creative (content + copy) variables cost, management of ad spend and total ad spend they are looking to invest into the platforms.

FB Ads alone wont do the work here. You need whole funnel, process, follow ups in place in order to make it work.

Test small, scale big. Do you have a blueprint set up?
