Some credit card questions for media buyers: How are you choosing which card(s) to pay with? If you have a card that has a 10k limit, and your weekly adspend is. 7k, should you put it all on that one card, pay it off, then use the same card next week? 4 weeks means 28k was collectively spent on a card with a 10k. Would this have an effect on credit score? Thanks for any input! I’m still pretty new to this credit card shuffle for maxing out travel/reward points!

Most of the Amex cards are not revolving and don't have limits, you just pay in full every month. Personally I like Capital One Venture for personal and Spark for biz they are both 2% unlimited cash back with no restrictions or categories. If you are maxing out your credit limit multiple times per month and paying it in full, your bank should have no problem giving you a credit limit increase.

@malignity perfect. I was worried about that ‘30% of max credit’ rule of thumb but that’s just not going to happen and I’m not paying for the ads with a debit/cash

Utilization only gets reported if you let your balance carry over to the next month. If you are paying in full you would have 0% utilization.

Use amex gold card. 4 points per dollar spend. That or chase business ink preferred for 3x points.

Amex is a charge card so there really is no “limit” per say, but you have to pay balance in full at end of each month.

@linkage6036 Can you explain a bit more about ‘charge card? ’ I plan to pay off whatever is owed ASAP, but I don’t know if that necessarily the best strategy. I currently have CIP

I personally have chase ink business preferred and quite happy with it. 3x up to 150k in spend per year I think. I own a lot of other chase cards already so this was an easy choice for me.
