Shopify's monthly fee is a straight steal for the 24/7 customer support, built in CDN, built in analytics, built in SSL, built in product and inventory management, built in themes, built in app store, built in host, built in file manager, etc. if you're gonna make something cheaper than $29/mth which I'm sure many would want, how much value are you sacrificing from the merchant? I wish more people would take the $29/mth fee as some form of friendly pressure to hustle harder instead of just complaining about it. If you can't make a sale or two over the course of 30 days to cover Shopify's expense, what are you even doing? (this isn't a shot at you, just sayin in general that I see this a lot usually by people who have no marketing skills and/or a poor storefront setup but then complain like it's Shopify's fault)
