How long are the ads? Are they writing and filming and getting VO etc or are they compiling stock footage and audio. A custom job can get expensive but a drag and drop compiling job I’d probably charge in the 50-100 range per

@langlauf thanks for the reply. The ads are like 15-20 sec and is more of a stock video compilation with the writing. Isit better to outsource the copy or shall i provide?

@tally302 I mean personally I would write the copy myself but I have experience. If you know the product and can write well anything you can do that the producer doesn’t have to outsource or do themselves will save you money. But for 15-20 seconds I’d probably charge you $50 per plus a set up charge of maybe 50-100 if you are expecting me to do all the copywriting etc. it all depends on the specifics of what you are requiring of the creative and what they think they are worth hourly and whatever formula they’ve developed for themselves lol

Right now prices are much lower as there is a bunch of people without workloads. A video like you’re mentioning could legit go for $25 1 minute videos where I went on location and filmed a commercial would normally be $250-500 A 60, 30, and 15 second commercial package using your own B roll would go for $250 30 second Ad would be in the $100-250 price range 15 second ads would go for $50 a pop or 5 for $150 Those were old pricing numbers I would use in town but these are different times, you could get places to do it for 50-75% off of those numbers right now. And yes, there will be some “professional video creators “ who will come dispute my numbers but there are plenty of video producing companies and automated software out there, getting videos produced isn’t nearly as expensive as it was just 18 months ago.

@ader748 Thanksgart hi and thanks for your reply. Yeah the prices differ allot which is kinda confusing by what to measure on? Do i measure by Duration? Do i measure by perceived production Value or customization. I realised allot automated softwares are good but dont offer the chance to customize things. Lets say when i wanna show products in the CTA. But i think 50-100 per video sounds fair

@tally302 I’m not sure how others do it. My prices fluctuate based on my availability, how involved I think the customer is going to be, my mood, my bank balance at the moment. If you like the style and communication of one of the companies that made you offer I’d go with that one over the ones that are “priced better “ There’s a lot of value in the communication and personality for with clients and vendors that doesn’t show up until mid way through or after a project is complete
