Question

Hello, guys, Anyoane tested a e-commerce strategy for a restaurant with a online order function? I will try to grow a restaurant with same tactics as an e-commerce (View Content, Add To Cart, Purchase, Retargeting, etc. ) and I am curios if anyone tried to do this in past and have good results.

Its a little bit stupid tbh. Here is why: People going to the restaurant wants to make a quick choice for food(most of them) and have a good time with their friends. If you take them both thought a process of paying every time they want a new refil for the drinks, it just wont work. Having tablets as a menu of the restoraunt is good idea. Anything beyond that, by my opinion, is not gonna work well.

@sexdecillion i see a lot of restaurants do that in my place right now. It is working as charm but you need to do quick to get the situacion in your benefit. If you make a lot of sales now and keep those customers you can expand in future even if this situacion is gone

I’ve worked with restaurants in the past on Google Ads, with a full e-commerce build and the whole shebang. Scalability and margins are the two issues you’ll run in to. Obviously the kitchen can only fulfill a certain amount of orders, so past a point you can’t scale any further as you can’t fulfill orders. Margins for restaurants tend to be low (think 3-5%ish) so getting purchases/orders at a CPA where you’re not losing money is very difficult, especially when you can’t scale. Obviously this is Google and not Facebook, but I’d imagine you’ll run into the same issues.
