How many of you are utilizing Push Notifications? If you aren't you should. ->>  See I'm probably like you, I really dont like interruptions. But you know what I dislike more, email. Google's promotional folder is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I all but ignore that folder 100% of the time. I only go in to that rabbit hole when someone tells me they sent me something and I can't find it, and only after checking the spam folder. Yes I check the spam box first. I also dont use much social media. I basically just use it to learn and for our business. I only use messenger apps rarely, but tolerate it for family and friends the weird ones who somehow never got the message that whatsapp is the way to message me. But do you know what I have open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year? 2 Things. My phone My computer. My phone is literally on all the time, and never shuts off, unless android is updating and only after they beg me for 2 months. My computer goes off when a power outage occurs. ______ Back to push notifications. I'm a firm believer in owned media. That's list building for some of you, and free advertising for the other group of you. A while back everyone focused on messenger bots. I was sold, I was an early adopter, and I was killing it. People around me had no idea what it was, chat fuel and many chat were just launching. Like scraping UDIDs back in the day, eventually it was cracked down, and the wild west was tamed. Now you have 24+1, and threats and rules of what you can and can't share. So basically not really owned media. But push notifications is still full on cowboy country. Our app users are adding 15-20 subscribers a day with no major push, and building that list on a small site. Segment the traffic by anything from Devices Countries Browsers page events. Automatic remarketing for cart abandoners, and so much more. Some stats: Our customers are getting between 4-5% CTRs avg for standard campaign non remarketing push notifications, and thats not even remarketing. Best part is, people don't really unsubscribe. Notifications can be swiped away so fast, they don't even bother. Anyway, that's it for now would love to hear fun strategies you might be using for push notifications.
