Hey, I have a question about remarketing. In a remarketing campaign, I target all people who have watched 75% of a video. This target group is already at 5000 people. But in remarketing I reach only a fraction of this target group, but with a higher frequency. When I increase the remarketing budget I have the feeling that only the frequency increases but not the number of people. Is there a way to go more into the width instead of the depth (frequency)? Thanks! :)

Bidcap and increase your bid until you get what you want.

Do you mean frequency cap instead of bid cap? If not could you elaborate a bit more?

@plast try to hit the audience with more than one objective at the same time, also use conversion, if you fail switch to bidcap and increase your bid.

@moule bid cap on retargeting? That’s interesting. Has it proven to work for you?

Where in the settings?

Using reach campaign, under the "show more option" in budget & schedule under ad set you can set the frequency cap

@maciemaciel16086 does it actually work or you just saying it?

What do you mean "does it actually work"?

You can check the frequency in the report

Try different ad units to start, because FB serves diff creative types to different pockets of the audience. If you have the budget, you can try doing other objectives, but we've seen that the reason why we don't get much reach on the retargeting on conversions is that FB knows that most of the ppl in that audience aren't ready to convert. So it's very likely if you run other objectives, you won't get any profits at least short term. Gotta be ready for that

Use the reach or impressions objective. Set a frequency cap

What I will suggest is to create a system to show ad to people who take certain action on your website after x amount of days. Do it for 1, 3, 7, 14, etc with add to cart. With that your ads will not be shown to those who do not fall in the category.
The Facebook Ads Group is where you can always find questions, answers, advice, reviews & recommendations from other community members about running Facebook and Instagram advertising and marketing campaigns.
