Smartly. io - you’ll never use Business Manager again!

@reverence12300 I cant wait to try it out! Thank you so much! But real quick, did you experience extreme headaches from Business manager?

I learnt how to manage paid social through smartly. io whilst I was at a big agency. It was a dream! Then I moved to work for a small company which didn’t have the budget to pay for the software (it’s quite pricey. ) and had to learn business manager for the first time. I was genuinely baffled how anyone manages large campaigns natively in Facebook; so slow, clunky, not made for the end user.

@reverence12300 Smartly connect directly thorugh BM or via personal profile?

@barnet it’s been a while since I set up but I believe you just connect any ad account that you have permissions to manage

@reverence12300 I don’t really have the budget for smartly right now myself now that I look at it. Well back to the drawing board.

@Ryan, YOU MEAN *BUSINESS MANAGER*, right? NOT, *ADS MANAGER*, right? They are VERY different 'tools'. BUSINESS MANAGER is simply like a 'file cabinet' that holds your 'assets'. there's not much 'functionality' to it. I've been working in this realm for 5years and find BizMngr to be very helpful for a lot of reasons. it IS NOT intuitive tho. ADS MANAGER. totally different tool. This is the location where all of the ads are built/created/modified/ data is tracked etc. Also, not intuitive. So is it BizMngr or Ads Mngr?

@salted6216 biz manager. I always have issues with getting access to a clients assets.

@salted6216 I don’t have a single problem with ads manager. That’s easy.

@anderegg53 . For ME, my preference is to do one of two things re. their assests. Have their Business Manager (assuming they have one. if not, I create one for them in On Boarding and chrge them) be 'freinds' (aka, partners) with my BizMngr. OR I am added as an ADMIN into their BizMngr and can take it from there. :) I KNOW that other markeitng people prefer (not my personal preference for doing business tho), to CREATE the client AAID (ad accounts) in their OWN BizMngrs for 'greater stability' w/ clients (kinda, holding them hostage). for me, I don't want that risk of FB shutting me down. so, I work outta their BizMngr

@salted6216 I like that idea. I may just do that for a couple of reasons: 1. I also hate it when companies hold peoples assists hostage. 2. I’m kind of tired of dealing with asset permissions
