Question

Any ideas what i could do with my iron staircase? I was thinking about painting it black to give it a fresher look, then putting a bright pot on every other step? Thank you in advance  *please ignore the garden, i am in the middle of making a veg patch*

I'd do what you've said but also train a flowering climber up round it too

Maybe black steps and frensheen copper/gold on spindles? Give it a dramatic look. Or, white and gold with pink pots. depends on colour theme?

Plant pots on each step with solar lights wrapped around it. They are gorgeous

Paint it black and then place trailing plants in pots on each step. Wouldn't wrap it around a tree because one day after the tree has grown, it will strangle the tree and you will have to cut it of and the tree could die. Beautiful xx

If you have a tree with a fairly straight trunk, it might me nice to have them attached to the side as though it's a staircase into the tree. Maybe some feeders at the top for anything that might live in the tree and maybe a little ornament of a bird or squirrel. And evergreen lefty plants on the bottom.
