Has anyone done anything different with the wasted space under a trampoline? I've just put a 12ft one up in my garden today and I'm after some ideas. Plants maybe? I'd also like to see the different surfaces that people have. Thank you!

Why don't you dig it into the ground?

We dug ours into the garden. It’s a much bigger job than we thought ‍♀️

@quantifier432 did you strengthen the sides of the hole? And what about drainage? We are thinking of doing this xx

@quantifier432 looks so much nicer than all that framework and netting on the other ones for sale.
by (190 points)
@bismuthinite no we didn’t - and now it’s collapsing ‍♀️ there’s a drain out the side which leads down to the side of the hill we live on but it still clogs up. It was an impulsive thing to do a few years ago and I wish we had done it properly now

@quantifier432 ah I am sorry to hear that. We were debating not using supports as a few people have said that theirs was fine without but will definitely do it properly now. Thankyou xx

@bismuthinite the sides are fine. We just didn’t do the base properly so it’s sinking. My son is older now so we’ve had our use out of it. I’m debating turning it into a giant pond instead

@quantifier432 ah ok. Thankyou. Yes a pond could be a good idea xx
