We are in the process of painting the front of our house. It has a small front garden which needs improving and grubby pathway. Ideas to transform both that doesn’t cost a bomb?

What about few bags of gravel can get 3 for 9 quid supermarket. Will hide the concrete

How about some decorative stone? Our front is small and very dry so we got some decorative stone put down with a good weed barrier. You can plant flowers and shrubs in coloured pots then

Get an angle grinder and make the hole a decent rectangular shape. Edge it with block paving or something similar. Or you could build it up with reclaimed sleepers, old pallets or something to make a raised bed. Then just put down some pea shingle to cover the concrete. Get some of the willow roll to cover the black railing part too
