I have a child's playhouse and over the years the roof which previously knotted together has separated in a couple of places and now leaks. They are only about 5mm wide. I have tried waterproof sealant but fell through. Does anyone have any ideas as to that I can use that plugs the gaps. I don't really have the money to replace or felt it. It needs to be a patch up

I don’t mean to be rude but a roll of roofing felt for sheds is about £18, you’d probably spend that trying to patch it up anyway?

Might be a silly idea, but could you use the roofing felt on the underside of the roof?
