Hi, im finally starting to think of ideas for my garden. I want to have a couple of trees - magnolia and a cherry blossom tree but dont want to have to wait years in order to see them at a good height. Im very new to gardening so what is a reasonable price to pay for grown trees (thinking at least 3-4feet tall)? Thanks in advance

Upwards of £40 on the cherry. Really depends what variety and size on the magnolia but you can get lucky with them. Bare in mind the magnolia flowers for about 6 weeks in spring ( as long as its good weather) and is then fairly boring for the rest of the year. The cherry flowers for between 2 and 4 weeks only. Also most Magnolias do get very big over time so concider where it is to be planted and its impact on that area.

3-4 feet is nowhere near grown. They can reach 20 feet. Mature trees will be expensive

My daughter bought a magnolia in the sales last year. It’s about 4 foot and was £125. That was half price!
