Charcoal all day long. Easier to clean too. When fat goes all over the place. Charcoal just let cool down and throw away the ash after

Either. Have both. Gas is convienant as long as you don't cook on full wack all the time. Charcoal if you want to chill with a few beers, but you need to make sure you find the hot spots on a charcoal where as a gas it's consistent all over. Sold bbqs for @

Lewis for years. The webber reps taught me how to cook properly on both. Its all down to preference and time availability.

If you mean bbq gas as you get more heat control . blowing up your house still gas as more likely to explode . camping a big pile of charcoal as it will likely last longer?
