Ahh thanks. Whats the sell by date for?

@prodigy9326 probably a guarantee that they’ll be good before that date. Just like food, ignore the dates, if it’s mouldy don’t eat it

They usually say a sow by date on the packet , but I don't take any notice and I would give them a try

I have some also dated 2015 (and some even older) I’m trying to see if they’ll grow. I read this idea online for checking them - Put them in moist paper towels in ziplock bags so I can see easily. If any sprout, I’ll transfer to soil  ( put them in two days ago) said if nothing happens in 10-14 days, then won’t grow.

I read that if you put them in water and if they sink there good and if they float there no good

As my dad says one of two things will happen, they’ll grow or they won’t and the only way you’ll know is to try.
